We would like to inform you about the latest amendments in the procedure of state registration of pesticides and agricultural chemicals in Ukraine.

In accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 800 of 07.06.2006, the new procedure of state registration and extension of registration of pesticides and agricultural chemicals includes the requirement to provide information on the patent protection rights for the active substance.

Practically it means that for state registration or extension of registration of agricultural chemicals or pesticides, a company must provide either a copy of their valid Ukrainian patent or the corresponding patent license for the active ingredient or the patent search report, issued by an authorized agent, proving that there is no patent protection on the territory of Ukraine.
